WEATHER CONDITIONS

Season phenology: early

Weather conditions:

Spring was very early, and snow melted by the end of April. Clear weather and rains were alternating in June, while July was warm and dry. August was rather warm with rains, September was cold. Autumn was early, and patchy snow cover established on 23 September. Small rivers and lakes froze after 20 September, and the Kolyma River froze on 2 October.
